Next Steps for Sessions

Conference Overview

Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG), Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), Group of Earth Sciences Observations Biodiversity Observation Network (GEO BON) and the Ocean Biodiversity Information System (OBIS) joint conference in 2025 will be a hybrid meeting, hosted in Bogotá, Colombia, October 21-24, 2025.

Essential early information has been posted on the Datos Vivos/Living Data 2025 conference website. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.

Session proposals will only be considered if they fit one or more of the conference themes:

(1) Open Data, (2) Data Integration, (3) Biodiversity Data Application and (4) Community Participation and Capacity Building

Submission Status

The Call for Organized Sessions for Living Data 2025 is now closed. We thank all who submitted their proposals for contributing to this joint conference between TDWG, GBIF, GEO BON and OBIS, to be hosted in Bogotá, Colombia, October 21-24, 2025.

All submitted proposals are currently under review. Session organizers will be notified of their submission status by early March 2025.

Next Steps

The Call for Abstracts will open in early March 2025. Accepted sessions will be announced and listed on the conference website, and the abstract submission process will begin.
